Palmer Projects
After School Clubs: Palmer students can choose from a variety of clubs every six weeks. Most clubs are held once a week from 3:45 to 5:00pm, and they include fun subjects like Community Service, Foreign Languages, Art, Sports, Chess, and Computers. We need parent volunteers to help host clubs. If you are interested in helping, please call the office for more information.
Special Events: Free family events are held throughout the school year. Every event includes food, fun, and a chance for your family to learn and play together.
Palmer Paws Newsletter Palmer families will receive a school newsletter once each month with articles written by students and staff containing information relating to the school community. These newsletters will be sent in the last Friday folder of the month. Extra copies for community members can be found in the school office each month.
School/Neighborhood Connection Palmer students and neighbors build relationships through projects such as the Palmer Community Garden. The community is always welcome to attend school events.
Palmer Outdoor Improvements As a result of hard work from the Palmer community, we have a community/school garden, trees, a courtyard for gathering, and new playground equipment.
Art Committee Palmer is planning to showcase and auction the artwork of students, teachers, and parents this spring. Location and date will be forthcoming. This fundraiser will support an enhanced art program at Palmer for all students!
All School Science Fair Palmer is excited about its "All School Science Fair." Each student participates in this wonderful activity which is open to the public. Look for information as to the date and time for this school year.
