Important Info

REQUESTED SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR 2009/20010 SCHOOL YEAR

If you would like to donate extra supplies, we will store them for students in need.

EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

• BACKPACK (Please purchase one that is large enough to hold a folder, papers, a blanket,
  and anything else that your child may need to bring to and from school.)
• Plastic (not paper) green daily communication folder
• 2 containers of Clorox wipes
• 1 package of wet wipes
• 1 container of Softsoap or other child friendly brand (Our soap cannot say "keep out of reach of children" on it.)
• 1 box of ziplock sandwich bags
• 1 box of gallon sized ziplock bags
• 2 boxes of crayons
• 1 box of washable markers
• 2 white Elmer's glue bottles
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 blanket for nap
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 1 box of band-aids
• 1 change of clothing (including socks and underwear) in a bag
• $3.00 party fee

KINDERGARTEN

• 1 box Crayons (not giant-size, please)
• 1 box of washable markers
• 2 box Clorox wipes
• 2 boxes Kleenex
• 2 pocket folders, one red and one blue 
• 2 4oz. bottles white Elmer’s glue (no colors)
• 10 #2 pencils
• 2 containers of play dough 
• 1 paper towel roll
• A backpack so that papers do not get lost (no wheels, please)
• 1 box Band-Aids
• $3.00 party fee

ADDITIONAL FOR ADVANCED KINDERGARTEN

• 2 Mead primary composition notebooks
• 2 spiral notebooks
• 1 small school box  
• 2 glue sticks
• 1 box (gallon size) Ziplock bags
• 2 boxes of junior kleenex
• 1 box of colored pencils

AUTISM

• 1 box of wet wipes for hands/face
• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 bottle white Elmer’s glue
• 1 container of Play-Doh
• Plastic grocery bags or newspaper bags
• 1-box Dixie cups (5 oz.)  
• A backpack is very helpful so that papers do not get lost (no wheels, please)
• $3.00 party fee

DEVELOPMENTAL LEARNING CENTER

• 2 boxes of Kleenex
• 1 box of crayons
• 5 #2 Pencils w/ erasers
• 4 bottles white Elmer’s glue
• 1 box washable markers
• 1 package of napkins
• Any 2 of the following: 35 mm film, wet wipes, play-doh, paper plates, paper cups, zip lock Snack, storage or sandwich size zip lock bags
• A backpack is very helpful for papers do not get lost (no wheels, please)
• kids underwear sizes 6-8
• $3.00 party fee

FIRST GRADE

• 20 #2 pencils with erasers (10 ea. semester)
• 1 ruler with inches and centimeters
• 1 pencil box
• 2 bottles white Elmer’s glue
• 1 box of 24 crayons
• 1 box of colored pencils
• 2 block erasers
• 1 pair pointed scissors
• 3 two-pocket folders - plain color
• 2 Mead Composition wide-lined notebooks
• 1 Primary Composition notebook
• 3 Large boxes of Kleenex
• 1 box wet wipes
• 1 box washable markers
• 1 sleeve of 2 oz. Dixie cups
• 1-box gallon size zip-lock bags & 1 box sandwich zip-lock bags
• A backpack (no wheels, please)

SECOND GRADE

• 1 bottle white Elmer’s glue (only white glue)

• 2 wide-lined spiral notebooks
• 1 Mead stenographer's notebook
• 1 small school box (optional)

• 40 #2 pencils with erasers
• 4 paper pocket folders
• 2 containers of Clorox disinfecting wipes
• 2 boxes Kleenex
• 1 box gallon size zip lock bags
• 1 bottle Purell with pump
• 1 box bandaids (strips only)
• 1 backpack (no wheels, please)
• $3.00 party fee
• $7.00 planner fee

GRADES 3, 4 and 5

Because most of our supplies are shared, please do not buy fancy items. Send only the items on the list, no binders or mechanical pencils. Do not put names on these items. A note will be sent home when supplies need to be refilled.

• 48 #2 wooden pencils with erasers
• 4 wide-lined Mead composition notebooks
• 2 Spiral notebooks (single subject)
• 4 folders (2 pocket) (no 3-ring binders or Trappers)
• 1 4 oz. Bottle Elmer’s glue + 6 large glue sticks
• 4 block erasers
• 1 pair pointed scissors
• 3 boxes Kleenex
• 1 in/cm ruler  
• 1 box colored pencils
• 1 box markers
• 3 AA Batteries for 5th graders
