We have had an amazing first couple of days of school! It has been an absolute joy getting to know your children and seeing all of their joy and excitement in the classroom! I have also enjoyed getting to meet many of you and hear about your experience so far!
I wanted to let you know that today we completed our first Fire Drill and Shelter in Place Drill. These drills can feel a little scary to our students as the fire alarm is very loud. We do tell them that these drills help keep us safe. The first Fire Drill and Shelter in Place were very smooth and students did an excellent job. Anytime we do a drill I will let you all know in case they come home wanting to talk about it or you have questions.
Thank you all for trusting us with your children here at Palmer! We are excited for a wonderful school year!
