Dear Palmer Families,
Palmer Elementary will keep their ECE classrooms open in 2025-26. Next year, Palmer will offer a total of four ECE classrooms – its current Model 1 and two ECE-4 classrooms, along with the addition of a mixed age 3-4 classroom. By providing this option, DPS will ensure that parents have ample choice and access to early education for their children in the surrounding Palmer neighborhood.
Please note that this decision represents a one-year continuation of these classes within the Palmer building, and does not represent or forecast a permanent building use decision. The Palmer Elementary building will be included in the community engagement process surrounding building use that will kick off in the spring.
