Alex Blocker has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education K-12 and Violin Performance from Fort Lewis College. Blocker has shared the stage with Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Boombox, Gramatik, Nappy Roots, and more. He has performed at Ball Arena, Broadmoor World Arena, Bluebird Theater, Fox Theater, Taste of Chicago, and Chicago State University to name a few. Influenced by his Chicago roots, Blocker has expressed musical ingenuity as a producer, instrumentalist, and vocalist on multiple previous releases. He has graced the cover of Denver’s Westword Magazine, been featured as part of Narkita Gold’s “Black in Denver” art Exhibit at Denver’s Museum of Contemporary Art, being named as “New Colorado Music You Should Know” by 303 Magazine several times, and garnering top accolades from premiere publications. Blocker’s name is one that is regularly mentioned in the Denver and Chicago music scenes.
