This is the start of my 18th year of teaching. I taught a Kindergarten and 1st Grade loop in Estes Park and moved to Denver six years ago to teach second grade. I am thrilled to be back in 1st grade at Palmer Elementary!
I spent my childhood in Montbello and attended DPS schools. My undergraduate degree is in Public Service from Albion College in Michigan. Before getting my MAEd I was a healthcare educator/counselor at an urban women’s clinic.
My two grown sons are both married! My older son and his wife live in Colorado with their three little children. My younger son lives with his wife in Hawaii.
I like to spend time away from school walking through the neighborhoods of Denver, skiing, spending time with friends and family, cooking for loved ones and watching sports, especially our Colorado Avalanche!
