Hi! My name is Megan Freeland and I am excited to be the
Assistant Principal at Palmer Elementary. I have 17 years of
experience in education. Several of those years were spent
teaching 4th grade, but I have also taught 2nd grade, and I
have been an Elementary Math and Science Curriculum
Instructional Coach. I have a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood
Education and a Master’s in Educational Leadership.
I grew up in North Louisiana and spent several years
teaching in Texas, before moving to Colorado. I enjoy all
Colorado has to offer, especially trips to the mountains,
hiking, and being on the water. I also enjoy concerts,
spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hanging
out with my rescue pup, Millie.
I am looking forward to serving all staff, students, and
families at Palmer, alongside Dawn. I’m excited to be a part
of the Palmer community and to get to know each of you!
