Early Childhood Education (ECE)

I have been teaching Early Childhood Education for over 10 years. I grew up on Long Island in New York and went to school there where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Long Island University and then went on to receive a Master’s degree in Literacy Education from CUNY Queens College. In 2012, a friend and I packed up my car and drove across the country, ending in San Diego where I lived for the next 8 years. In 2020, I decided to take my sister up on an offer to move in with her and her family in Littleton, Colorado. After falling in love with the mountains, I made the hard decision to leave the oceans behind and stay in land-locked Colorado. In the summers you can find me hiking, camping, hanging out in parks, at farmer’s markets, and traveling to the ocean. I also play ice hockey, foster cats, read all kinds of books, listen to podcasts, and make vegan tacos almost daily. I share my residence with my two cats that I “foster failed”: Benny and Bagheera. I also teach a Child Development course online to adults who want to get credentialed to become early childhood teachers, and I hope to eventually get a doctorate degree.
